Who am I?

I have successfully made a living as an actor since 1995. In that time, I’ve done a wide variety of paid work including feature films (eleven so far), short films (twenty three), tv (six), stage (thirty) and voiceovers (nine) as well as countless corporate videos and roleplays.

As you will see from Showreel, Video links, etc., a lot of my acting is comic. If I lean towards a particular type, it’s either Arrogant Professional or Vulnerable Nice Guy.

My usual accent is very BBC, very RP, but I can muster various others. I also have a strong, trained baritone singing voice.

In my previous life, I was a journalist (as David Shannon) with work published in the Sunday Times, Cosmopolitan, the Guardian, the Evening Standard and many other magazines and newspapers. My debut novel – HOWUL – was published earlier this year. You can find out more about it here.
